I am totally a city girl at heart....There is just a rush a surge of energy that you get living in the city. The bustle of the day everyone dressed professional, back and forth from work to Starbucks. The honking and giggling, the ideas coming alive from the office windows...
And then those city nights, the lights and the action the colors that swirl in the streets. The taxis and professionally and happy hourily dressed professionals. There is a feeling of alive, of enjoying life that you get in the city that you just dont feel in the country. Its always a good thing to visit the country once in a while just to get a breather from all the excitement but within days your itching for that city life again, its addicting.

I am definitely more of a country person. I spent a lot of my life in the country (even lived way out in the middle of nowhere with no running water and no electricity for a year and a half!). I enjoy the peacefulness of it. And I love to be outside working in the fresh air like in a garden or raking leaves, or whatever. Right now I live in the city, and it's not bad, but we don't really have a yard, and we can't have animals. The country is the best in my opinion!

I lived in the city for 5 years and didn't like it at all. Now I live about 15 minutes from town.

I am a country boy through and through and always will be. I have considerable formal education and I have literally seen half the world and lived in several of the largest cities in the world.
But now I live in the country in Louisiana where I grew up. I now own the land that belonged to my Grandfather back in 1922. I can sit on my back porch and have total quiet. Or In five minutes time I be can so remote no one can find me if I do not want to be found. I love to watch the deer and turkeys feed in the late evening. And it is a special thrill to listen to the Canadian Honkers as they fly overhead on a cold dark night headed South. The only thing it takes to make me happy is a Cup of Community Coffee, A Hot Biscuit with cow butter, and a Rocking Chair. No traffic jams, no road rage, no jerks. My neighbor raises Donkeys. I love to hear them bray and I love to watch their eyes light up when I walk to the fence with an Apple behind my back. They know it is there but they nudge me and nibble around until they find the apple. Oh well. This is not for everyone but I don't know anyone I would trade places with and I know a bunch of people who would trade places with me in a heartbeat.

I appreciate the country, but I'm a city girl. I love to shop and go out to bars on the weekends...I imagine there's not too much of that in the country.

I love the country. Even though I have to have brand name stuff and I love to skate, I just can't stand the crowdedness and air pollution of the city. Also the danger, and how people are these days, I just don't like modern cities. I love fresh air and the scenery of the country. I just hate how things are these days, with the air pollution, the inconsiderate people, the noise, the buildings, the nature not being present...it is just too....not for me. It is just way too disgusting. I just don't like it...

I love the city. The country is way to boring. That's why so many of them are fat with a 5 kids by age 20. There's nothing else to do. And worst of all.....there's no one around to hear you scream. Too much empty space.

I live in the city now,but was in the country most of my life. I would rather live in the country because I don't like all the hustle and bustle of the city.

i love the city.....especially Manhattan, the clouds of pollution from all the cars and buses, rotted gum on the sidewalks, old brick buildings with rusty wrought iron stairways, the noise, i love it all
I love some of the country too though, Woodstock where all the hippies are. It's really beautiful out there, maybe i'll go pick up a drug habit, stop showering for weeks and play crappy music on the 2 sq. ft green lol. i'm just kidding, i really do wanna live there one day.
