I'm not certain because I don't know what kind of finish is on the table, but if I were you, I'd try a NON-Acetone nail polish remover (the type that is safe for acrylic nails). That is less likely to dissolve the finish on the table. I would DEFINITELY test it in an inconspicuous area first to see if it harms the finish. Then if it's okay, proceed by using a q-tip or something that will allow you to rub only the area with the nail polish without touching the surrounding area too much.

If your oak table is finished with lacquer ( which it probably is) you will damage it further if you try to use any acetone product. Try to scrape it off with a razor blade and polish out the scratch or have the table refinished.

MIX EQUAL QUANTIES OF VINEGAR AND OLIVE OIL AND RUB ON NAIL POLISH WITH A CLOTH DIPPED IN WARM WATER.MAY REQUIRE REPEATED RUBBING. WHEN THE STAIN HAS BEEN REMOVED RESTORE SURFACE OF POLISHED WOOD BY POLISHING WITH A MIXTURE OF EQUAL PARTS OF LINSEED OIL AND TURPENTINE

Have you tried 'goof off' or soft scrub, that is what comes to mind to me.
