I just want to know how many people on this site RIGHT NOW are Democrat, and how many are Republican. Put a "D" if you are Democrat, and an "R" if you are Republican. Then, at the end, one random Republican will end up with the 10 bonus points for giving the "best answer".

How is it that you already know that the best answer will come from a Republican? Is it just because the leader of the Republican Party is so very well read and knowledgeable and always comes up with the correct answers?

Darn it! I wish I were a Texas intellectual like Mr. Bush! I'm never gonna get those ten points!

Well. Yet another opportunity to align ourselves with parties that are more content arguing amongst eachother as to which side is better, which side is stronger. Yet all along we are forgetting the issues at hand; that is to assume that we are even educated as to what the issues at hand are. I am an American citizen. I am a female, white, college educated, single, mother who cares about my country. So, what category do I fit in to? I suppose I could just worry about points and pretend I was a Republican. Or, I could say something rude about Republicans in hopes of winning over the Democrats. Or, I could just say what I have said and hope that someone reads it and agrees. Who gives a flying fig anyway? You obviously don't.

I'm for America, not a party. That is why I vote for candidates from different parties, depending on what the candidates say, not their parties. Using this logic, I have found it hard to vote for many Republicans lately, since I find them to be the most cynical and most dishonest, and don't fight for issues I care about. I used to be in the Republican party, but won't affiliate myself with any party any longer.

Left of Center. I couldn't give a damn about ten points. Just imagine if everybody posted R just to get ten points. They aren't that important.

R. An unhappy R b/c the Party won't show any backbone, but still an R.
