No. If the bird is wearing a pith helmet, it's hinting, rather unsuccessfully it seems, that it would like to go on safari. Quick, get to your nearest travel agents and book your feathered friend a round-trip ticket to Kenya with a stay in Treetops (safari hotel)!

No, it isn't!

They normally wear a 'miners helmet' and carry a Tilly lamp while working.

I suggest you get a vet to have a look at it, they are notorious for wearing the wrong size and not fuelling the lamps properly too.

ha ha like it ...my auntie had one when iwas a kid it would swear at every man and wolf whistle at the woman she also used to have a bingo night in her house and it kept shouting bingo...brilliant thanks for the blast from the past
