What MB oil specification sheet should I be using for a 1995 C220? And since I live in tropical climate, can i use a synthetic oil? what should i be looking for in an oil?

if you use synthetic oil in an older motor you will trash the motor. look at the specs for that motor.

having worked on cars for over 40 years i think castrol is one of the best oils out there. syntec is the to[p of the castrol line.

isn't 20w-50 available? synthetic should be just fine and the viscosity will hold longer in your tropical environment
