That if they win everything will be perfect in the world

World Peace. They'll end Iraq. Terrorists will be over to have tea and biscuits.

I mean really...why do they assume everything would be perfect with them?

They live in a delusional state the has as its posit:
We can negotiate with people whose starting point is our deaths at any cost.
They also think that the UN is a powerful force with its resolustions that, so far, have been ignored by all terrorist groups.

- not all change is good... just ask the jews in 1939 germany when the nazis implemented their "final solution"
change w/o wisdom is disasterous, as is the democratic "solution" for world problems.
Incidently, history is replete with the utter failure of negotiating and appeasing agressive leaders.

They don't think that. They just want to be given the opportunity to steer the nation in a new direction. The way this nation is headed with the current leadership is getting scary. Until four years ago I was a Republican who had voted for Nixon, Reagan, and every other Republican who ran for President since 1972. The current administration needs to be reined in. The powers this President now has are extraordinary. We need a Democratic House to be a check to this President so he doesn't gain any more powers and treat the Constitution like it means nothing.

OK, here's your answer in the form of a question. Do YOU think things could possibly get worse? Pulling out of Iraq yesterday wouldn't make things worse for the United States, however it probably would for the people of Iraq. Stay the course only kills more of our soldiers and many innocent people who only want peace. The democrats may not have all of the answers, but the republicans show us time and again, they have none of the answers. They are only creating more hatred towards us from the middle-east.

The more and more people such as yourself lump all people into one category or another, the farther away we (the public) will be from having our voices heard. A united front is much stronger than a scattered system. "They" think just like all the other "Theys". Who can still think for themselves I often wonder.

perfection? in washington? what cool-aid are you drinking?

whats worse.... neo cons who want permanent war.... the endless "war" on terrorism? dont believe that junk from the wh political office. maybe, just maybe, some balance in washington can begin to right all the wrongs of the last six years and have an intelligent discourse on what is happening in this country and how we can get back to some sort of normalcy where we are not blue or red, but neighbors who can talk without yelling and have an intelligent debate.

I am sure that the terrorist will be over for tea and buscuit when they meet with our leaders to talk about our surrender to them. Might as well convert to islam now and put the head scarf on the MRS.
