Winston Churchill once said:
"Anyone under 20 who is not a liberal does not have a heart.... but anyone over 20 who is not Conservative does not have a brain"
I have been there and understand his point fully.

I think it was Churchill that said (someone correct me if I am wrong), "If you are a Conservative when you are 20, you have no heart. If you are a Liberal when you are 40, you have no brain."
Liberals generally make decisions based on good intentions. Conservatives generally make decisions based on good outcomes. Now don't get me wrong, this has all be perverted lately, but that is the general idea. Old people tend to vote for whoever they think will give them the most benefits (social security and medicare), but many stay conservative.

liberal as hell .Conservatives are scared shipless parents who want all sorts of rules impossed by law to keep the kids from coming to any harm .
God forbid someones stupid kid break his neck playing on a swing or at a football game .
Everything must be controlled and thats what a conservative wants .
Control over what you read hear see and speak .It is for your own Good and we as Good parents must sacrafice to make sure the kids grow up right .
Mommy and daddy do not admit to having affairs and using drugs drinking to much losing jobs or anything that might reflect poorly on the family unit .
Only when things get completely out of control does a conservative call in the lawyers police and family support group .Like the wife not coming home for a week .Or someone going to rehab .
Besides the kids need people to lie to them all the time so they can understand how to make it in the real world .Lie cheat and steal anything not nailed down and if you find a money tree hide it and tell no one about it and if some on spots you harvesting money from it kill them .

Teens tend to be more liberal as they're still idealistic about how the world should be.
Old people are more conservative becuase they know how the world really is.

Younger people are usually liberal because they haven't fully matured yet. As people age, they gain more knowledge and tend to become more conservative.
