1. Substrate-level phosphorylation produces a net of 4 ATP. However, 2 ATP are used in the process for a total of 2 ATP.

2. ETC produces 34-36 ATP.

Here is the pathway for cellular respiration:

1 Glucose enters Glycolysis. The Glucose is broken down into (2) pyruvate acids. Pyruvate is converted to CoA which enters the Krebs Cycle. The Krebs Cycles produces 2 ATP & 6 CO2 (we exhale). Then Electron Transport Chain produces 34 ATP & H2O.
