Non-bonded atom doesn´t have covalent bonds.
Molecules have covalent bonds.
Two or more atoms share their electrons to make up molecules.

Atoms have one atom in it because its an atom and molecules are a group of atoms held together by a bond. They are similar because they both have atoms in them. They are different because an atom is one atom and the molecule has a group of atoms.
