Bringing 400 million people out of poverty in just over 20 years? Not to mention raising the quality of life and strengthening the economies of ASEAN (Thaliand, Vietnam, Laos, Phillipines, etc. and African countries. (48 African leaders are currently in Beijing for the Sino-African summit)

china's accomplishments do have a lot of legitimacy... but i think you have to agree that "History is the daughter of time."
