Ok, I was going to go trick-or-treating with one of my best friends. We talked about it all week, and he was going to come to my house, then 10 min before we were supposed to go, he called and said that he couldnt. I called my other friend who said that Zack(the friend who I was going to go with) knew he couldnt. What should I do? Should I blow it off, or tell him that he shouldnt of done that??

How does that other friend know that Zack knew he couldn't go? How well do you trust that other friend? Maybe Zack's parents wanted him to take his little brother at the last minutes? I would think about this before I blow this friend off, because I wouldn't lose a friend over trick or treating.

Well, first of all don't feel bad. Call him and ask him what was so important that he couldn't come trick-or-treating with you.

1) If he says he was with another friend, then don't feel bad and DONT be all mean to him, REVENGE is NEVER good. When you go to school just don't talk to him as much and dont ignore him, all you have to do is not talk to him directly, if he says something, then you can answer back. Just pick another friend at school, who you know likes you, and remember it doesn't matter if that person isn't popular, all that matters it that they care about you. ( if there isn't anyone, personally i like groups of freinds better than 1)

2) if he says it was a family thing or something serious, forgive and forget!

Maybe he has a good reason.. maybe a family problem or a financial matter might of
needed immediate attention! Maybe he inadvertently forgot! Give him the chance to explain. Listen to the nuances of his words and
you'll know whether he's making up excuses or
tell you the truth!

Sounds like he wanted to badly and couldn't face the disappointment or want to hurt your feelings. Tell him true friends can be honest with each other and that you understand if forces beyond his control keep him from something, that you are still his friend and won't be upset because of it.

Maybe he had a good reason. Don't get mad, just ask him nicely why he couldn't go. Maybe his parents changed their minds or he got sick.
If he did blow you off just because. Well then just let it go.....

Talk to your friend. Let him know that you know the truth. Give him a chance to explain and apologize.

Well, I guess he's not your friend anymore, at least you know that now, better later than never, thank him for his mistake, and move on

Grow up and get over it

if this is the first time he has done this, then forget about it. if it is repeating, then tell him how you feel, and work it out.
