Depends. Cost of living varies per city so what you'd get for $1000/month in NYC is going to be radically different than what you'd get for $1000/month in Des Moines.
You can spend $2500/month on a great space in Los Angeles or $1000/month for a decent place. For $2500 in a small town, you could get a whole house.
New York and San Francisco have the highest rental rates per square foot so the nicer and larger, the more it will cost you.

According to a lot of websites I read when I wanted to relocate- Boston and LA (there are some quaint parts). From all my research, I'd rather live in Boston than anywhere else, but it seriously depends on your personality and the atmosphere you feel most comfortable in. Look for the surrounding things to do instead of apartments and see what sparks your interest.

For $10,000 you're able to come across a dumpy previous domicile or an older domicile trailer interior the path of absolute no longer something. it would probably be in a small village or hamlet a important distance from an significant centres.

Probably somewhere around Arkansas, Louisiana, or Mississippi. You can still buy waterfront property on a wonderful lake for around $150,000.00. Some might say Las Vegas or huge metropolitan areas but the prices are outrageous.

Well my mom went to Houston, Texas to see houses and stuff. She said they're really nice and the best thing is that they're cheap too. You can get a nice 4 bedroom house for 250,000 bucks!
