Ok. STEP 1: Call Lynksys. They have 24/7/365 help. Yes you are calling India. Thats the bad part. But trust me, JUST CALL Them. You have paid not only for ths product, but to pay these people to help you. They will walk you thru it. Insist that they go YOUR SPEED, step by step. If you cant understand them, just hang up and call back. I know it sucks we need to call another country for assistance, but thats the world today. Its your fastest way to success. and DO NOT GET OFF THE PHONE until you SEE IT WORKING.

Unless you have already entered a password,that should not happen out of the box, the fastest way to get help is to call the tech support 1-800 for Linksys and they can walk you through the setup, you should be able to do a factory reset on the back and start from scratch

The linksys routers are protected using a password. If the router is new, you may like to try "password" for the password with admin as the user name.

The password may be the key crap on bottom of router.. Check with the manufacturer

you need to configure it i guess ... default password is admin ... if it has a previous password u dont know on it then press the small reset button on the back with a pin and hold it for 20secs to clear it and reset the router to factory default ...
