Um, hon, if you're in your 20's, why do you want to look younger? Those creams are for women in their 40's anyway. You're young enough, don't over do it!!!!

I have found the Biotherm Source Therapie very effective on regaining glow and well being back into the skin. It is a gel/cream serum consistency that you apply before your other skin care. After about a week of using, I noticed my skin appeared to be more even toned and smooth. I also noticed my foundations looked better on top as I think this acts as a primer too.
I have also just been trying out a sample of Youthtopia, an anti ageing firming cream from Origins. It has a slightly bizarre 'herbal' scent (It contains a herb called Rhodiola which is supposed to have anti ageing effects). However on application, the skin seems to firm up. It is supposed to help tighten and contour skin, and whilst the effects are not surgical there is definitely more of a contoured feel. Make up also applies well over this product and the overall firming effect is more noticeable in terms of giving the face a more toned appearance. Try and see if you can blag some samples first!

First if you are not use a sunscreen in your daily AM hygiene routine even on cloudy days for the suns rays penetrate and wrinkles are casues by sun exposure and not genetics. Then a combination antioxident-moisture cream to protect skin from free radicals and of course moisture to keep skin plumb. To get rid of fine lines now(all that 20's skin should havego to a Dermatologist and get Retina A for its one of the very few products that actually makes Collagen(the stuff in your skin hat keeps itsmooth) needs to be prescription strength to be effective and also Strivectin-can be bought Macys,Bloomingdales,Dillards -the better dept.stores thers the large tube for the face $185. and smaller for the eye area $58. but since all the eye cream lacks is the peppermint herbs I use the eye cream for the face.throat area also for very little is needed and lasts a long time it also makes collagen. Both the Retina A and the Strivectin expensive(Retina A not covered by Insurance) but very little is needed and they work and if you use them faithfully now your face will be smooth and line free. Am 58 and use both products and have very few-the deep lines in my forehead not so deep anymore but was already established and will not go totally away but not the deep deep line that it was.I'd rather spend my money on a guaranteed product as these 2 are than spend and spend to not be totally satisfied.

face creams use Clinique Moistouriser. It's a yellow liquid in a pretty small bottle, statistically each bottle of this product is sold every 4.5mins worldwide. That's how good it is.
Roc is really good also, their facial moistourisers are excellent.
Don't forget that after you cleanse & tone ur skin will lose moisture cos of the alcohol in the toner. So use Clarins Serum, it costs a pricey £35 a bottle, but it works brilliantly as a base for ur moistouriser.

Expensive: La Mer.
Moderate: MyChelle (all natural). Bliss.
Inexpensive: Cetaphil & Neutrogena
This works best for wrinkles and repairing collagen: go to the dermatologist and get a prescription for Retin-A, which is a strong retinol cream that WORKS.
Anyone over 25 should protect their skin with sunscreen every single day, and start nourishing it. 25 is pretty much peak condition, and the hormones and regeneration begin slowing after that. But wrinkles are totally worth all the great things that come with getting older.

im only 20 but i use Clinique. The 3 step program every day. Face wash, clarifying lotion and moisturiser. I use the gel moisturiser because it is lighter for young skin I have found.
I also use Clinique tinted moisturiser.
Clinique has some excellent products for overnight moisturisers and face masks etc and their 7day scrub really refreshes the skin to give that radiant glow back.
Hope that helps!

Hey there...
I have worked in quite a few different cosmetic/skincare lines and i have tried soooo many different moisturizers and eye creams and i have figured out that lancome has the best expert skincare, as far as technology, effectiveness, and texture. estee lauder is not too far behind, but they are an american based company, where lancome is european so it's faster and farther in technological properties.
For Face: i would recommend Lancome's Primordiale Optimum with SPF 15 ($62)... in a cream for dry skintypes, or in a lotion for normal/combo skin.
Key benefits in this moisturizer:
- for people in their 20's and 30's
- minimizes the appearance of fine lines
- smoothes surface texture
- helps to even out the skin tone/ complexion
Technologies include:
- vitamins A, C, and E for anti-oxidant protection and radiance
- full protection SPF 15 against both UVA and UVB rays
- "Thermo-Control System" that makes the moisturizer act as a ventilation system: molecules tighten and group together, forming a fort to protect skin in harsher and colder temperatures. In warmer temps, molecules will relax and disperse to allow your skin to breathe and ventilate.
for eye creams:
depending on what your key concerns are, there are different eye creams available for you. the following are the best i have tried from different companies.
- Puffy eyes: try Benefit's "Depuffing Action Eye Gel" and "Ooh La Lift" de-puffer. (resonable price-point between $20-$30). Origins also has a nice one with caffeine.
- Dark Circles: try Hylexin ($95 at department stores). it's proven to help with extreme darkness and even hereditary circles.
- Wrinkles: Lancome's "Primordiale Eye Cream" for fine lines and puffiness or "High Resolution Eye" for laugh lines, wrinkles, darkness, and puffiness.
Hope this helps!! Good luck, and remember, everyone is different, so definitely get something from a depertment store where you can get quality information from an adviser at different counters. Also, they usually accept returns within a few months (as long as it's not completely empty) in case you dont see much difference or are not satisfied. but give your skin at least 4-6 weeks with ANY product before you look for a noticable difference.
oh yeah, and to see a faster improvement, exfoliate your skin 2-3 times per week at least to get rid of surface dead skin that may be blocking your moisturizer from penetrating all the way. Toner before the moisturizer is also important to pre-soften the skin and allow the moisturizer to penetrate deeper and faster.
:)

Hey there,
Studies have shown that once you hit 40 years of age without the proper nutrients and exercises your body will age about 6 months EXTRA for every year that passes!
I'm following this program by Steve and Becky Hokan called Oldschoolnewbody: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=547
They teach you how to look younger without drugs, creams or supplements. Their system is 100% natural: there are specific ways to move, eat and think that tell your brain to stop the aging process and there are many things to avoid if you finally want to achieve your ideal body.
If you want to slow down or reverse the aging process you can follow this famous method by Steve and Becky Holman: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=547
They teach you how to force your brain to stop the aging process with no drugs and no supplements. There are also things that you have to avoid to look younger and achieve your ideal body (check their site for more information)

It has been said,"That the earliest age you should use night cream is at 25." Stopping wrinkles before they start, even while you sleep. I buy all of my cream from AVON. I am 24 and have started using them. They work, after 2 kids I feel and look better about myself. I use Anew Retroactive. They are decently priced, and always seem like they are ahving a sale.

i havent bought a face cream yet that i swear by because most of them are a big let down. u dont nessicarilly have to spend a fotune either, as some of the cheaper ones are quite good. 20's i would just look for something that works well as a moisturiser and SPF, dont worry bout wrinkles just yet!
dermalogica is a good range as its recommended by dermatologist. also elemis as this contains natural ingredients.
