I received an associates degree at Purdue Univ, then I transferred to Brigham Young University, having an associates degree before transferring really helped me not to have to take a bunch of required courses that I really didn't want to take anyway.....I'm glad I had a an associates degree before transferring. As long as you receive your associates from an accredited college, then any university will accept your credits. if you have any questions email me personally!

Most of the time, yes. You would have to check with the school and see. You will need at least a C to transfer. Most colleges won't accept D's. If I were you, I would decide what college you want the bachelors from and then compare. Sometimes getting an associates degree..you will take courses that won't be needed in your major. I was a business major at a 2 year school. I took courses like computerized accounting, etc and then when I transferred, it wouldn't count because that wasn't offered at my new school. It didn't even count as an elective. In some schools US history even has different dates. The course have to be compatible before they will transfer.

an associates is comprised mostly of general undergraduate requirements. if this was completed at an accredited college there should be no problem.

It depends on the school. Some will accept that and some won't.
