Certainly - these are just some of the facts from her sad story, shared by many, many other people :
1. Anne was born on June 12th, 1929
2. She was actually German, born in Frankfurt am Main (not a lot of people know that)
3. Anne's father, Otto, worked for the Dutch company Opekta, which sold pectin
4. Her full name was Anneliese Marie Frank
5. Anne received her notebook (which became her famous diary) as a 13th birthday present
6. Anne's diary was actually an autograph book
7. Anne and her family went into hiding on July 6th 1942
8. The Frank family were not alone in their hiding place, they were joined by the van Pels family and Fritz Pfeffer, a dentist
9. The hiding place was stormed by the German Security Police on August 4th 1944 - the informer was never identified
10. Anne and her sister Margot died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp sometime between late February and mid March 1945
