yes this can be done,i know i did it,now here's how...first off you will not know the address or last know place where your husband lives, your lawyer will run an add in your local news paper for six weeks, then you will go before the judge who will grant you a divorce.

Add more info. did he move from Texas to Florida or did you move from Florida to Texas. And How long ago? This is important b/c if he never lived with you in Texas then you gotta go to Florida for the divorce. And even if he did live in Texas your divorce cannot be too cheap b/c you have to get service over him in Florida. Your best bet is that he wants to get out of this marriage as bad as you do and there are not too many property issues and he does not give too much trouble then he can start the process in Florida.

no you have to file it through your court and they will send it to him and serve him with the papers, you cannot get a divorce through a newspaper as it is a court decision

you cant. you need to file the proper legal papers at the courthouse.
Although it'd be funny to see his reaction when you take out an advert telling himl whats goingto happen. seriously though, do it legally, you may be entitled to legal aid.
