The Romans were to a wide extent influenced & looked up to Greek culture. In fact, Roman democracy is based on Athenian democracy with the difference that they had 3 counter-balancing institutions such as the Senate, Consulship & a body that represents the common people.

Militarily - a Roman has to serve in the army from the age of 18 till 60, being liable for campaigns up to 6 months each year.

Only if a stealth candidate wins control of the country by pretending to have the same values as most of that country.....then the Trojan Horse brings in his fellow anti-capitalists to destroy the country from within. Otherwise, a regulated capitalist system is the best system ever found for creating a wealth tide that raises all ships.
