Put the trashbag and or can into his car. Leave a note. Take the trash out. Do this everytime it fills up. Stop washing his laundry too.

Take it out yourself. If he's a good husband, this minor thing should not be a concern. I take the trash out in our house most of the time, he just doesn't notice such things.

Tell him that you will serve him a beer when he's done, or that he is going to get a b-j. He'd probably take the trash out twice daily!

crack open a cold brewsky and then place it next to the garbage can......men are programmed to hear a beer opening from a mile away and he will come running and then tell him there is more where that came from if he takes the trash out.

I tried suttle suggestions (wow, has that garbage been by the door for 2 days?), straight out asking (honey, can you take the garbage out on your way out?), and putting it in the way of the door so he would have to purposely step over it to get out the door and down the stairs ( and there it sat). (Can you say LAZY BASTARD??) Good luck to ya!

you're serious. I thought this was a euphemism for something else. talk to him, leave the trash by the door for him, accomodate the big baby. eventually he'll do it, and what's sad is he'll brag about all he does for you.
