Speed comes with practice. You could show them the techniques you use, but other than that, it's all up to each person to increase their speed.
Show them where each fingre & thumb should be placed on the keyboard, there is alos special speed typing tests you can use & they are on the net.
Have fun good luck.

It's a matter of practice. You can give them exercises to type like: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
That sentence uses every letter in the alphabet.

I have always been fast at a lot of things, but often I have found it is just the way one is. Like my counselor said to me, fast isn't smart, altho often they come together. Why does one football player run faster than another ? Practice always helps, and can make one much better at what they want, but I'm guessing you come by it naturally.

As long as they know the keyboard well, they can practice to get faster. If you have any special tips about your methods, tell them. It could be that you have a special talent and they will never type as fast as you.

You should introduce them to different techniques; teach them small steps that would gradually increase their speed. Also, tell them about websites that could help with their keyboarding practice.

Have them put tape over the keys and practice typing. Usually you slow down to watch the keys.
