i think sen. obama is extremely intelligent, which is something you don't see in too many politicians these days. he's also really progressive, also something you don't encounter in, say, the white house right now. he has a lot of really resourceful, well-thought-out ideas. he seems to have workable solutions to our countries problems.
i think he's a great orator, much like bill clinton. he speaks to the public in terms that they can understand and that make sense. he's very articulate. i really enjoy reading the narratives that he writes because they are so thoughtful. he tells really interesting stories, ones that i feel i can relate to personally. i think that's really important because that's what we need right now, someone people feel they can relate to.

Nothing. He hasnt been a Senator long enough to prove if he is a decent politician one way or the other.
Having the ability to give good speeches hardly qualifies anyone for a political post. My take on Obama is to see what he is all about and what he does in his current position.

I think he's a very articulated individual, with a mind set for the future of the country. His presentation illuminates freshness; and works well across the political barriers of party lines. I'm not sure if he's ready for the Presidency. However; he has a great start as Junior Senator for the State of Illinois. He's a well rounded family man and very smart!
