They write up bylaws that the employer of union members must adhere to for the employers to work for them. Sush as certain wages for certain work, healthcare costs and benefits for the workers and things like that and make it so a company can't hire outside the union, that union employees are considered first for jobs that open up. Protection of the rights and benefits of workers. We need more of them. Maybe our jobs wouldn't be going to India or Mexico?

Serve the Democratic Party, take your money, squander your money, lay in bed with the mafia, steal money, start trouble, blow alot of wind up your butt, keep incompetent people in jobs they do not perform well, steal money, take your dues, file grievances, organize meetings, take your dues, tell you how to vote, take your dues, pilfer your retirement fund, launder money, make it hard for employees to pay for it all so they hire illegals and outsource, chase factories overseas, gnaw on the leg of the employers, drive costs up, create inflation, repeat....

We organize the laborers throughout the country. We speak for them, defend them, make sure they are not abused or mistreated, negotiate contracts for fair wages, pensions and benefits. All of the above we do.

basicly nothing all they do really is find out ways to take our money and say its for getting us more money
