This question is not well phrased which makes it hard to understand. But now that I've read the whole thing:
There's not as much beating and raping that goes on in prison as many people suppose-- juvie, yes, but not federal prison. (The states get money for each prisoner, so it makes more sense for them to keep the prisoners alive and at least somewhat healthy. Raping is discouraged. In most large prisons people who show violent tendencies are kept in a separate section. What you see in movies and on TV about prison is only true among certain prison populations. Also, murderers are generally NOT raped; most guys in prison are not there for murder; a murderer is a badass, hardly anyone will pick on him.)
If I had a chance to enact revenge against someone who took a loved one's life BEFORE justice caught up with them, I might do it-- providing that I already had something in mind. Keep in mind that a lot of murderers are kinda twisted to begin with, and "the worst thing you can think of" to do to them might just make them happy.
If you were to put yourself in the position of a prisoner on death row, and THEN ask yourself whether lethal injection was preferable to life in prison, your take on this question might be vastly different. Death is a very final thing. Even if you are in prison for 75 years or something, there's always a chance for enjoyment of life of some type, or even release. Once you're dead, you're dead.

I think if you look carefully at the newspapers there is always a story about someone jailed for life getting an early release because they behaved so well while in prison. They are then out on the street again after not many years but the person they killed is still dead.

Unfortunately the prisons are way too overcrowded to keep everybody off of death row- on the other hand, an eye for an eye. I believe if someone is convicted for murder with ABSOLUTE certainty- witness, weapon, no alibi, dna, etc. then death is the correct answer- again, eye for an eye. But there are people in jail who may have committed crimes but are not murderers, and they get term sentences longer than murderers.

Ok, this is a very good question. If I choose option A would option B follow or would he be back on the streets. I think I choose B! But he would have to be anally raped a LOT like every second of the day!

I prefer life without parole. To me, the death penalty is too easy of a punishment.
I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if I had to listen to the constant din in a prison, always being surrounded by people, having to do what the prison wants when they want it and the fear of being sexually assaulted or just plain assaulted. To me prison would be a living hell.
I consider life without parole worth my tax dollars.

well honestly, the beginning of this year a friend of mine was killed in a car accident where a young girl was playing around and ran a stop sign. she got nothing because she is a minor. I would rather spend time in a locked room although she would heal eventually. so maybe jail where they can be raped but it has to be a real jail not one of those jails where they have gyms and computers and nicer things then what i have at home. our judical system is rough....

C. As long as they confessed or we are 100% sure they did it. I would rather die than spend the rest of my life in prison too. Plus, if they are dead, the tax payers don't have to pay for them being in prison.

the death sentence wasn't so much used as a punishment, more of an easy way to save money. I say anyone in prison for life should be put to death...why waste my money on someone who cannot be rehabilitated?

I agree with you, prison has always seemed like much worse punishment, living there year after year, instead of dying and quickly getting it all over with.
