Halloween is WAY better than Christmas.
1)Kids get to be whatever they want,
2) they get free candy (from strangers)
3)adults have fun dressing up too and seeing kids enjoy themselves.
4) there is something cool about a dark, scary holiday
5) all the Halloween candy is 50% off at the stores tomorrow
Christmas is a holiday in which most people feel obligated to buy things for people, not from the goodness of their heart, but because Hallmark tells them to. All the fun of Christmas as a kid is gone and it is SO sommercial and is crammed down your throat by stores in September. By the time christmas comes around I am SICK OF IT.

Christmas, by all means. All my family shows up on Christmas, my son and his wife, my 4 daughters and their husbands and my 9 grandchildren. It's the only time of year when all of them are gathered in one place at the same time. All my grandchildren enjoy coming to Pop-pops at Christmas time. Just spending the day with my family is very special.

Both are for kids I think. At least for Halloween you only have to buy candy.

Halloween. I love the fun it gives everyone and it is a big holiday for the pagan religion.

To the poster who said Pagans were terrible, you obviously have no clue as to what you are talking about. Anyway, Christmas is an overblown extravaganza that has lost meaning.
