When we 1st met i was playing darts and he was trying to get to know me. I said i'd meet him the following night but i stood him up...he lived over 100 miles away. So he worked out that if i was playing away the next week i'd be at home the following so he drove back down to see me. We are now married.

sounds soppy, but everything my partner does for me is special, because i know its done out of pure love, but the most romantic thing he did do,was when i was having a bath, and i came downstairs to find the lights off and a few candles scattered around, big cushions on the floor, and he was sitting with the massage oil at the ready, all this because he knew i had been feeling a bit low.

Picked me up when I was at my lowest ebb in my life. Helped me to get my confidence back and respect my self. She loves me unconditionally and shows me love, loyalty and respect. She will do absolutely anything for me at the drop of a hat. She always takes notice of what I say and do. She has bought me presents that have taken alot of consideration, they have always been something that I wanted and have mentioned that I liked ages ago but had forgotten about. She has arranged surprise parties for me on a number of occasions. I have got my soul mate, and I am happy and content with my life because of her.

LOL - i read your question and just had to answer as im not in love.....but i was......my ex didnt strike me as the surprising type so when i walked into his flat one night he surprised me with lit candles everywhere....he had met me at the bus stop and walked me back to his and didnt mention a thing. He didnt do it for a reason but just for me and him to share the night together talking and ordering a take away....it doesnt sound too romantic does it , but eh it was at the time. I thought it was sweet of him.

One day I came home late from work and my husband had lined the bathroom and bathtub with candles and had set up a completely romantic evening for the two of us.
