had carpal tunnel surgery both hands in feb 2006 numbness and pain went away recently fell down stairs broke both wrists ruptured disc in my back at work the numbness has come back to hands since my accident went and had emg today and he says i have carpal tunnel in both hands but that its from old injury from feb the numbness went away after surgery and only returned since this last accident so dont see how they can say it was before its comp ans im sure they are trying to get out of taking care of it what can i do?

You should have done your research before you had the surgery. Over 70% of the people who have that surgery do NOT get rid of the CTS. It comes back in 12 to 18 months. Another 15% have it come back within 5 years. There is NO CURE for CTS.
