Probably you just asked or been told by the people that have not been mugged, or raped... or stuck in traffic all day for hours from a drive from Homestead to North Miami at rush hour!
The bright side, it is a very live city... multi-cultural... with plenty of latin vibe and flavor! If you like the sunshine, hot-humid weather and lots of night-life.... then you might love it!

Traffic is a *****...But the city is live parties,beaches, shopping,beautiful sunsets...The women are the best Beautiful trust me on that....Just know where you go or else....Liberty City (the pork and beans),Overtown,some parts of Opa Locka, the triangle (notorious for drugs)...these are parts of the city you don't want to get lost in ....My favorite part of the Miami is Downtown...lots of good memories...

My family is going back the the 2ND time for Christmas, We of course love the weather but I love the atmosphere and the architect and I love people watching.

i've gone there to vist lots of times and it's just FUN! Lot's of partying, beautiful people, shopping, beach all year round!
