Scott...I have had dreams that stayed with me for a long time, sometimes even repeating. It is disturbing, but they never came true or seemed to have a connection to my life. If you are dreaming about something that actually happened, it could be a flashback instead of a dream. My suggestion would be that if it does not stop, you consider seeing someone to talk it over. Good Luck.

I have had many unpleasant dreams but they don't haunt me. What haunts me is whatever has caused the dream. I think most dreams are a result of events which have ocurred or the sub-conscious trying to tell a person something. I've often worked things out as a result of my dreams.
My mother who is 80 has severed all ties with my 3 sisters & me for a man she is living with. None of us has made it an either him or us situation; we just don't want to see him again as he has fondled two of uw. It has caused us much pain & I have dreamt about her frequently; none of the dreams have been pleasant but they helped me work out my feelings. I once dreamt that I was visiting her & her "friend" arrived with his grandchildren. My mother got behind them and said, "These are my children now." Each dream represented my feelings & they helped me come to accept the situation.

Of course its normal "Scott". The haunting feeling usually a part played by your emotions. If you have that feeling then it is really bugging you. But there is nothing wrong with it. Unless you have the feeling of being trapped. Cornered with that feeling that you are stuck and cant escape. A feeling as if you are being consumed by your own fear. Then you would need to get some help.

If you have an issue that you don't deal with sometimes your mind plays it out in the form of dreams. Talk to someone about it.

Yes. I had a dream once that my boss got mad at me and yelled at me, but in reality, he likes me and always depends on me. But this dream haunted me for a while and made me nervous about work.

It seems your worried about something and need to settle it before you get to upset by it.It's your subconscious that's getting to you.
