That is an impossible question to answer with actual fact. There are literally hundreds of studies that will tell you one way or the other, and just as many that will tell you that women are just as promiscuous or much less.

Statistics are almost always affected by who is doing the study, and as such, are never fully factual... which is unfortunate. The only things I can tell you are these:

Women for the most part are just as promiscuous as men are... men are just stupid enough to talk about it to everyone. Women usually only tell their "best friends".

The natural inclination of many males of various mammalian species is to mate with as many females as possible. This is absolute fact in nature. The strange thing is, there are a lot of mammals that mate for life as well. If you want to take the scientific route... I'd say that it's about 50/50 up until the male is mature enough to not care about screwing everything that moves anymore.

In answer to the loaded part of the queston though... here's a scary "fact" for you from multiple studies: Women are around 70% more likely to get into a relationship with a promiscuous partner if they have been promiscuous in the past or currently are themselves.

I think that this question shouldn't only pertain to men. I know a large amount of women along with men that are promiscuous. I don't think the majority of men are, but as with women they're some. There are a lot of guys that can't get any women or don't try!!

Yes. But you see for guys sex isn't just a physical thing. It's the hunter mentality. It's not the sex that is the high, it's just score. Getting the girl neked and having sex with her. It's an accomplishment to a man more than it is about the sex.

And that's why a girl is usually considered a slut if she sleeps with a bunch of guys. But a guy is considered a pimp. from what Ive seen, and my self I would have to say the majority, with a percent of those who aren't wishing they weren't repressed, or just too shy to be...I restrain my self to flirting, and I believe the good men in the world do as well.
