Are there other people in the whole wide world who think it is not a piece of cake ?
I have seen little boys do it . I saw girls and old people do it .
Yet I can't approach this horrible evil thing .
C'mon , ?
to change gears I need to let go of the gas , hold the clutch, and then use my foot to change gears , and yet I need to look at the road so as not to get killed ?
Who on earth can do that ?What am I ? a monkey ?
There must be something that everybody is hiding .

Practice, practice, practice. When you are not riding visualise the movements.
Start by pulling away and then braking, then pulling away go into second and start braking.
In no time you can down shift, whilst feathering the front and rear brakes and counter steering round corners whilst similtaneously looking at on coming traffic.

Just get a helmet, a large parking lot and go. slow at first, just get use to the clutch and brakes, keep it in first at about the speed that you would ride a bicycle. as you get more comfortable, increase your speed ,select second gear than just come to a stop. anyone can floor it in all 6 gears but not everyone can turn @under 5 mph...practice this and you will be fine. ...or i know this great support group....

It's just down the hall from the group that can't drive an automatic except from the backseat!

There is a therapy group at your local biker bar. I think they call them the Wannabees.

It's only a matter of practice; it doesn't come naturally to anyone. I tell you this as a skilled driver.

You cant expect to just hop on one and be able to ride it. it may take a while but dont give up. if u fall off get back on thats wat i did. good luck.

. yeah its called hand eye coordination, common sesne and practice.Not everyone has it and SADLY~ some may never...
