Do you think he did the right thing going to Honda? Would he be still at Ferrari had he stayed? Will he ever win another GP?

I think that he made a very good choice, because he was fed up with 6 years of being the no. 2 in the team for ever. Honda has both drivers in equal terms, as I know.

My guess that he might challenge for wins again, because the Japanese manufacturer is on the up, as proved from Hockenheim onwards. And I think he might have been thrown out by Ferrari if he would have stayed this year.

I think that the move is definately a good thing to gain more experience since the Hondas have improved and had won many races with jenson.
We don't know which car will be the best next season to come and with Honda that had so many changes with the motivation and resources to get a win. He might just make it.It might not because of Shumacher or the ferari team.my friend said maybe he face too much pressure from that team. And also, with his experince with the ferari team, Rubens is also a big asset to the Honda in helping them. Rubens is well known for being a helpful person.

Oh yeah, it was good to go to Honda. He's a good driver a doesn't deserve #2 status. Also, Honda is a good team, who just maybe weren't as strong last year. Remember all those podiums Jenson had the year before? Even Takuma Sato was fast in that car, just had a habit of blowing up or crashing. Banzaiiii... Reubens will do well, champion no, wins yes.
He might still be a Ferrari driver if he had stayed, it's tough to tell, but he didn't know how long MS would stay and I'm sure he was pretty jammed after that Monaco incident with Schumi, speaking of Banzai moves.

Rubens is a very, very good driver, and was never going to be #1 at Ferrari no matter what. He finally realized that, and moved on to a team where he could at least be equal with his teammate.

He proved an awful lot at Ferrari, and his technical knowledge should help Honda, which is an area that Button is a bit weak in. I don't think Rubens is going to be remembered for his stunning tenure at Honda, but he's a good addition to the team and it was definitely the best option available to him at the time.

I think he did the right thing. He couldn't stay at Ferrari because Michael Schumacher told the team not to renew his contract. He could have gone some place else but I think he made the right decision in going to Honda. Honda is a top team, number four in my opinion, and he will have chances to win races, if Button won, why can't he win? He's a better driver than Button, and he's the best driver in the rain. All he needs to win another grand prix is a little bit of luck (like Button had in Hugary).

Towards the end of last season, the Hondas improved dramatically.
A new season brings a new story.
There is no way of telling which will be the best cars next season. Who would have predicted that the winning Williams team would be struggling so much now.
Also. the Honda team is still in its infancy, and has huge resources behind it. They will not be satisfied until they have a winning team. Yes, he could win another grand prix, and probably will.

I think he made the right move. Honda should be very competitve in 2007, although it has been- "wait till next year" for a while now. Honda is not in F1 to lose. If they don't win a title within the reasonably near future, I imagine they will withdraw from F1.

i think of Jenson replaced into ... the popular champion. Rubens is obviously an extremely experienced driving force, and Brawn knew this. i think of they even have been on the ropes before everything of the season, surprisingly with a sparkling engine company and constrained attempting out applications. As I remember, they only made it to the attempt music something like a million week until now the season began. so as that they desperately mandatory experienced drivers, surprisingly one that ought to advise them a thank you to establish what replaced into relatively a different vehicle. that's the place Rubens got here in. He hadn't been given a freelance, and he were dealt with as though Honda did no longer % him. So no person might have blamed him if he in basic terms went off to NASCAR or comparable. yet he stayed, he set up Jenson's vehicle besides as his very own, and he have been given podiums. Rubens replaced into pronounced on the instant as saying his contract replaced into for 4 races and had overall performance clauses in it. Now, in spite of the undeniable fact that, issues have replaced. Brawn is now able to get some sturdy sponsors, so as that they % drivers who the advertising people can extra relatively sell; they have performed around with the vehicle for a year, so as that they do no longer ought to have him there; and he's exhibiting his age somewhat. So Brawn incredibly is able to a minimum of % one among his drivers this year. As others have mentioned, Mercedes % one seat, that's in all probability honest sufficient because of the fact that i think of Brawn GP replaced into in all probability on the brink of being bankrupt, so for them to get the Mercedes engine replaced right into a real God deliver. if that they had landed up with the Renault or Toyota engine i myself doubt they might have gained the WCC. So Merc gets to assert who sits interior the selection 2 vehicle. i think of regardless of if Rubens had gained the WDC Jenson might have been their first determination. And if Jenson strikes to McLaren? properly, there are a number of drivers searching for seats who in all probability will decrease their expectancies to the point that Brawn is pleased with.

honestly, i think it was a tough descion but he made a good choice, in my opinion. he wanted to get out of the shadow of shumacher. and i dont blame him. but with shumacher retired and anlonso going to mercedes team it might just give the underdogs a fighting chance. till then we have to wait untill march 7 for the start of the 08 season. i cant wait cuz its also my bday. yay for me!!!
