It's all right ,there are some genuine improvements that don't mess with the general feel and operation of Firefox.I especially like spell check that underlines mistakes even though it struggles with names.

Actually I've just switched from 1.5 to 2.0 for about a week now and I love it. It's amazingly better than the previous one. I love how the interface has been updated and still keeps the default simplistic look. You can keep some of the plug-ins that are compatible with 2.0 (like FoxyTunes). But unfortunately themes and other frivolous plug-ins will probably become of no use. But the best part of this newer version is the restore session feature. Let's say you're surfing a site that requires a great amout of memory like YouTube! or Myspace. And the computer ends up crashing or freezing. Oh well. Big deal. When you restart and reopen Firefox 2.0 it gives you the option of restoring the session that was previously lost or starting from scratch. And you don't have to restart Firefox immediately. It can be the next day before you ever log back into Firefox and it'll still hold your lost session. In other words , if you haven't gotten it by now then you should really get it. Update ASAP!

I haven't noticed much difference since upgrading to 2.0. Though the Google Page Rank Toolbar Plugin is slightly mixed up, showing the wrong page rank on some sites. Other than that though everything seems all the same as 1.5.
Just give it a go I say, at least you can always go back to 1.5 if you want to. :)

Hi there,
I've been digging in deep at ver2.0 and have to say that its a clever job by Mozilla. They've managed to secure and update certain things about Firefox without bragging (unlike Internet Explorer). Some cool new features like auto spell check within forms etc. make life a bit easier and more reassuring but it does have a couple of bugs. However, they're not huge and do not interfere with most things, only some plug-ins. :)

I downloaded it on another computer & really didn't like the layout. Some of the new features are nice, but others aren't so (for me).
I don't think i'll be upgrading to 2.0 for a while, like i won't be upgrading to IE7 or MSN live.
I like my old school.

Yes and I love it. Although if you have a large list of installed extensions they may not all work with FF 2.0.

I did and I think it's much better than 1.5! It seems to work faster and the tabs are a good idea! I'd go for it if I were you! (It's much better than IE 7)!
