It was a cold, creepy Halloween night. I decided to stay home with my trusty cat Buttons and watch scary movies. We were all snuggled on the couch when suddenly the wind took out the electricity. I was scared but lit a few candles and tried to calm down. I then heard a gut wrenching scream come from the basement! I jumped a mile and ran to the basement door. The cat gave me a look saying, "do NOT go in there," so I called, "Who's there!!" in a squeaky voice that did not sound like me at all.

The cat hissed at the door so I grabbed him and ran back to the front, where I saw ghostly figures who were dancing on the front lawn. I then felt a ghostly presence brush my face. "Go away! Go away!" I screamed, trying to push it away.

Then, I woke up in the bright living room with the cat laying by my head and brushing his tail on my face. What a dream! I kept the lights blazing the rest of the night.

"Do not go in there!", it was her boyfriend Danny. "I was just looking outside the front porch and ghostly figures were dancing on the front lawn, they told me something awful is going to happen" he said. Suddenly the wind took out the electricity. Sandy screamed and ran into Danny's arms. "Oh God, I'm so scared Danny". Danny didn't answer. "Danny???" Suddenly the lights came on. Danny wasn't there, Sandy had her arms wrapped around Freddy Kruger, she screamed and ran the other way "Go away! Go away". But it was too late Freddy grabbed Sandy and ripped her stomach open. As she died, all Sandy could wonder was where was Danny, if he was even there at all.
