I am an MD. Morning sickness is in part due to the fact that you have a foreign tissue (the baby and associated placenta, etc.) growing in your body, which cannot be helped. I am convinced that the other part of morning sickness is hunger in diguise. I recommend that you try something like chicken broth or saltine crackers when you get it, and see if it doesn't help.

Try anything with ginger in it such as a tincture added to water or tea or a ginger tea. and as others have suggested crackers and FLAT 7-up or ginger ale. Don't go to bed hungry either always have something before bed light nothing heavy. Of course in all honesty I have known people that no matter what they have done or tryed they still have morning sickness; sometimes unfortunately all throughout the pregnancy. Chin up be resourceful and try everything. But remember not to try anything that doesn't sound safe!

Put a glass of water or falt 7up and a few crackers on your bed stand. Before you get up in the morning (barely even sit up) eat and drink. Lay down for another 5-10 minutes. Get up slowly.
Hope it helps you.
