I was living on my own and paying my own rent while I was in HS; I went to the worse HS in the entire borough at the time, too. There were two teachers that inspired me: one was a Mr. Gallo, a Physical Education teacher (also called Brainiac and Mr. Spock because he is such an intelligent man) and the other was my English teacher, Ms. Singer. Thanks to them (I was able to attend school without having to present "parents" or have letters written by parents I didn't have), I was able to graduate and was motivated to pursue a higher education; they inspired learning, not passing grades.

Also, my ex-wife, bless her, is one tenacious woman who overcame odds in order to graduate from college with honors, and she is the most honest human being I've ever met in my life. She didn't consider herself very bright but she sacrificed, worked and studied hard enough to browse amongst the brightest in her graduating class! She is a true wonder woman!

I am also grateful for the book, "The Fountainhead," by Ayn Rand given to me by Ms. V. Singer, my HS English teacher. It helped me overcome a few difficult times and helped me keep focused on the more important things in life.

I am inspired by my friends and family. And the girl I like especially. They are my support in hard times and I can always feel at home among them. Without them I'd be nothing, an insignificant speck on the wheel of time.

Good motivates me for more good. The more you do something, the more you keep doing it...It's said to be a karmic law (and is even refered to in the bible)
More practically though, sometimes, I'll have a great dream and wake-up all happy, I guess because it feels good when my subconcsious is pointing me in the right direction. A loved one, especially a child is great motivation when it comes to getting yourself together and improving yourself because he/she will benefit.Money is a good motivation, it feels normal to exert some effort for it.

Jesus Christ
When I was 17 he came into my life,
and though there have been bad times,
he has stop faithfully by me and taken me through them.
Now I'm making a new life for myself,
and though everything else might change I am certain his love for me will never change.
I love him because he first loved me.

Sunshine, warm summer nights, kindness, music of my choice, family and friends, a good movie of my choice, birds chirping, clean fresh air, a deep breath and a smile will do it for me.
