No, they are not substitute products. Channel nail polish is good, I've had pleasant results with it. However, I stand firmly by O.P.I products. NYC is more comparable with Wet N Wild.

Not at all.. NYC nail polishes suck...Chanel on the other hand has an array of gorgeous colors...that fit just about everyone. Now, the price...is a little steep for nail laquer but it lasts quite a while, and i think you will be quite satisfied with the outcome. One tip, if you take your chanel nail polish with you to a nail salon, make sure you get it back from them....they would love to keep it.

Maybe as I guy, I do not notice the same things, but I tested them all, the least expensice Wet n Wild, to the pricey Channel. Admittedly, I never tested any all by themselves, I always used orly Bonder base coat, and Seche Vite Quick Dry top coat. I only found one that I would truely say IMHO was not as good as the others and that was OPI's Nicole line of colors (you needed more than two coats to get a uniform color). All the rest, lasted just as long when you used a good base and top coat. If I use a full coverage decal, they last even longer. So as long as a line of product has a color you really like, go for it, and get the base and top coats at Sally's Beauty Supply (I don't work for them or own stock in them)
Sorry on the full coverage nail decals, to the best of my knowledge, I'm the only one who makes them and I do not market them as yet. I did get my nail techs license in 1996 or 97

Sweetie, let me tell you, NYC, polishes are horable, you want to go with Sally, or Times nail polish. They work wonders!
