Different focus. The Governor is reposible for the local issues, while a Senator has teh country's perspective in mind.

Better that we get rid of the parties and elect people willing to serve the people and not the interest groups, regardless of party.

I think that in general there needs to be equal representation. I've thought for a long time that on both the state and federal level the executive and legislative branches should be separate parties.

All politicians that have lost the idea that they represent us, not just blindly follow their "party" do not deserve to be in office. It's always "us" againt "them" and nothing gets done... just look at the mess we're in with the congress we have now. Far left against far right.. only the "centerists" deserve to be in office.

i believe a balance of power is the only way.from the smallest office to the white house,we have already shown the world that a government who holds all the power just doesn't work.we have to force the government to work together.
