give it a week or two. you may get some dwindlered, but it usually takes between one to two weeks to flush something out of the system.

Well first they tried the Michael J. Fox thing and failed. Then they made an attempt on Rep Webb and failed. Now they are attempting to go after Kerry. Republicans are such hypocrites! They want to blame people for the war that they established; and if you don't support their views; you are non supportive of the troops, non patriotic or some liberal. I remind you, this is still America; no matter how much it resembles Pre-Nazi Germany. Face the facts; your Congressmen, Senators, and the White House lead by Bush and the Tyrannical Liars; have been caught. The people will usher you out of office come November 7. Unless you manage to steal another election.
Focus on the mistakes that have taken place for the last six years and leave Kerry along. Attacking him, will not gain you votes!

We don't understand?
I, too, am a Viet Nam veteran - and I can tell you first hand that John Kerry is a total *#!%^@* - and has been since he shot off his lying mouth in 1967 during the Congressional Hearings to further his own political ambitions and agendas - and, apparently, he hasn't changed a bit.
It's one thing to oppose a war - or even criticize it after it is finished - it's quite another thing to criticize a war or the soldiers when it is ongoing and our troops are in harms way.
There's a fine line between legitimate opposition and outright aiding and emboldening the enemy while you bash our troops.
I have no respect for a man who would paint an entire occupying force with the same brush. He should be ashamed of himself, but he is too ignorant and stupid to realize the possible effects of his rhetoric.

How many days has Bush been bash? I mean I really don't know. I'm a little different though. My husband was a Vietnam vet. He hated Kerry for what he did to the troops there. so I will never let up on Kerry as long as he is a contender for president. Hey and Foley had it coming. So there ya go an honest answer.

Until after the election - and your idea of "crap" is kind of silly. Kerry made the statement, everybody heard the statement, everybody knows he meant what he said. Why shouldn't the Republicans capitialize on it, even if it was a stupid mistake. Kerry has a history of dissing the military. And when was the last time a Democrat turned over a new page? (joke).

But come on, we all know that the military *is* the last choice available for many young people who do not do well in school, or even socially.
It is no insult, the military advertises parents considering letting the kids join the military after looking around and seeing gangs and pregnant kids

I understood perfectly.The man hates the military and does not have the guts to just come out and say it.He would not be the only veteran that hates the military but he is not being honest and now accuses everyone else instead of just saying "I wouldn't want my worst enemy in the army.".
