I just thought of this. I've heard of stories about kids standing up to bullies and winning but have you ever experienced standing up to a bully, but it didn't work (or you heard of someone who experienced that situation)?

I was being picked on by a girl in school in 6th grade (she made my life a living nightmare) and in science class, I had enough. When she was teasing me, I took a small, thin, rectangular shaped book and whacked her with it. She ran crying to the nurses' office and I had to take her. I did get called in to see the vice principal (who was well aware of what this girl had done to me before) not as a referral but just a talk. The teasing didn't stop there, unfortuately.

Anyone have a story similar to mine? I put this in the psychology section because I didn't know where else to put it.

Okay, here's the perfect example. In middle school I was always picked on (even though I'm a total knock out now) by all the popular kids. I had a lotta friends, just in all different social groups. The "skaters" were sooo mean to me, there were these 4 girls especially, who would come up to my table at lunch, and throw things at me, and say foul names, and whatnot, so once I saw two of the girls walking down my street, I was in my yard, and said "what the **** are you looking at you fat bitches".....well come the next day over 20 kids got off at MY bus stop, that didn't even ride my bus, and the two girls kicked me down the street for two blocks until I threw my backpack at them and ran home. So there's my story, don't be a bully, it's rude. But I do laugh now, cuz of how successful I am in my job (interior designing), and half those losers are still working fast food!

I always stood up to bullies. Sometimes the bully would call their friends in to help, but that just made me more determined not to give in.Always worked for me, sorry to hear about your experience, and anyone else who's been bullied

Whatever hotwart, anyhow I know violence is not the answer but sometimes you need to use it! And that happen to be your case. Don't worry I was bully too when I was 13 and when I got older I bumped into her and hit her up, and she was like; no I want not trouble!!Anyhow I felt sorry for her and just let it be. I guess her life wasn't going very good. In other words just leave it to God he will take care of it!! "WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND"
