Well, because, everyone is always "smashing" on us, and we try to add a little sugar, so that it feels better, and we end up with cherry syrup.
But, just so you know, all that mashing should get the pits out, and maybe you'll be ok for a while.
I am going through a hard time myself, but I figure that it will force me take care of some things that should have been taken care of long ago. It is like they say, you sometimes have to get to rock bottom, then theres no way but up!! Look up girl, something good is bound to happen.
(Thanks for asking, I was feeling down myself, but this has cheered me up.)

I thought life was a box of chocolates.
I guess cherries are healthier, though.
Cherries are summer things, and everything is sticky in the summer. It's amazing, really. Like, how the crap do picture frames get sticky??

Maybe they are glacier cherries....they are ALWAYS very sticky!

I guess there are good cherries and bad cherries in the bowl...you just have to position yourself properly so that you overcome the stickiness of life.

I once read a book entitled, 'If life is a bowl of cherries ...why am I living in the pits?' Can't remember the author - could have been Phylis Diller, but anyway - pits is the US word for cherry stones.

It almost always comes down to the decisions we make in life. Far too often, people keep making the same old mistakes, and things begin to get sticky. No one is perfect, thus we all make mistakes. The trick is to learn from your mistakes and not repeat them. Life is for more likely to remain sweet if you try to follow that rule. One man's opinion.
