The price of three bottles of Bright Shine Window Cleaner, each containing 15 oz, is $2.75. Two bottles of Sparkle Window Cleaner, each containing 18 oz, can be purchased for $1.98. Which is the better buy?

You didn't give anything to compare it to...
$1.98 for 3 bottles equates to 66 cents per bottle (unit price):
1.98 / 3 = 0.66 per bottle = 66 cents per bottle.
With 18 oz. in each, you have a price of:
0.66 / 16 = 0.04125 per oz = 4 1/8 cents per ounce.
Do the same calculations to get price per bottle or ounce and determine which is the better deal...

Three bottles of Bright Shine Window cleaner costs $2.75 * 3 bottles = $8.25 and you get 15oz * 3 bottles = 45 oz. The cost per ounce is $8.25 / 45 oz = $0.18 per ounce.
Two bottles of Sparkle Window Cleaner costs $1.98 * 2 bottles = $3.96 and you get 18 oz * 2 bottles = 36 oz. The cost per ounce is $3.96 / 36 oz = $0.11 per ounce.
The better buy is the Sparkle Window Cleaner. Now if you can just get someone to wash those windows you will have it made. I recommend the Tom Sawyer approach. Good luck!
