I smoked forever and for a day. I think both smokers and non-smokers are mostly OK. Except those "holier than thou" non-smokers who lord it over you and act disgusted by smoking and claim to be allergic. It is impossible to be allergic to cigarette smoke. They have tried for 50 years to prove it is possible but any reputable allergy clinic will tell you it is not possible to be allergic to cigarette smoke no matter how much you want to be holier than thou and sick. You are just sick. You can be allergic to tobacco - that is humanly possible - but you have to eat it - so eat some you "allergic" holier than thou nuts. Most of the data is faked and skewed to make it say what they want it to say. 300 million people and 300 thousand die from smoking related cancer each year. The law of averages says that smoking is not so dangerous to you health, How many of the 300 thousand smokers would get cancer anyway - how many actually got it from old age and other reasons. Think before you believe and if the numbers don't add up - well - are you being lied to anyway and who cares what they die from when they are too old to have any fun anyway. At 75 smoking may be the only fun you can still have. AND - remember - their numbers just do not add up.

I don't smoke anymore, but when I used to it got on my nerves a bit when people were constantly harping at me that 'you should quit, don't you know it's disgusting and killing you', blah blah... I think as long as the smoker is being responsible and considerate about it, i.e. not smoking around people that don't want to breathe the smoke in, not leaving ash and butts lying around, not smoking in non-smoking areas etc. then people should just accept that it's their choice and leave them alone. Smokers who are not considerate deserve everything they get though - I haven't smoked for 3 years now and breathing in other people's smoke really does bother me these days and I don't think I should have to put up with it.

I give non-smokers all the props in the world. They have a lot of stamina if they can say no to smoking. I started smoking when I was 12 years old and I wish I never did.

I don't have an opinion really, I think it is great for them and congratulate those who quit.
I do think smoking in restaurants is rude but I also think that keeping someone from smoking in a public area is wrong.

I don't smoke but I want to beat someone's head in when they say someone can't smoke.

They believe that they will get their turn when they look down into your hospital bed after you cough up half a lung as a result of smoking.
