Capricorn & Pisces
When Capricorn and Pisces join together in a love match, on the surface, it may appear to be opposites attracting. Capricorn is down-to-earth and regimented, with a very strong work ethic, while Pisces tends to be more emotional and dreamy, and takes on the needs of those around them. This couple is honest, and can be devoted to one another. They admire one another: Capricorn appreciates Pisces's kind nature, and Pisces is drawn in by Capricorn's quick wit and tenacity.
This relationship may develop slowly, the two not necessarily recognizing its progression. But it will get stronger over time. The Capricorn-Pisces duo can really put their heads together and can be fulfilled by their partner. Difficulties can arise if Capricorn is too dominating for Pisces's sensitive side. Pisces needs to understand that this is Capricorn's style and not a personal attack. Pisces might not take too well to Capricorn's stubbornness, but can deal with it through patience and understanding. Pisces enjoys indulging Capricorn through their desire for domestic bliss, which combines well with Capricorn's need for a neat, tidy home and material goods.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and Pisces is ruled by a combination of Jupiter and Neptune. Saturn is the planet of dedication, authority and responsibility. Higher learning, ethics and standards are ruled by Jupiter, while Neptune influences Pisces's view of dreams and illusions. These three Planets complement one another because they have a good sense of compassionate justice and dedication.
Capricorn is an Earth Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign. Earth Signs are about possessions, and the Capricorn-Pisces partners like to surround themselves with material objects that show off their sophistication. The Water Sign relies on emotion and intuition, making the Pisces the fueling force behind the relationship, but in a passive way. Shared love of a comfortable, yet fancy, home life ensures that this couple will aspire to a higher ground.
Capricorn is a Cardinal Sign and Pisces is a Mutable Sign. While Capricorn tends to focus on one project at a time, Pisces floats from one thing to another as the feeling strikes them. Because of their flexibility, Pisces may become interested in Capricorn's projects. In turn, Capricorn needs to allow Pisces to enjoy many things at once and not take it personally when Pisces gets bored with something that Capricorn if focused on. Capricorn will stick with Pisces's pursuits even after they've moved on to something else. In return, Pisces can sometimes show Capricorn that flexibility is better than a strong determination to do things a specific way.
What's the best aspect of the Capricorn-Pisces relationship? It's their unique blend of temperaments. Both partners enjoy sharing their lives with someone else, and both like to help the other achieve their goals. Their difference in temperaments makes theirs a highly compatible relationship.

All the earth signs are compatible with Pisces. I'm Pisces and most of my best friends are an earth sign and my husband is a Capricorn and we have a very special, deep and strong connection. We have a very deep and strong love and we instantly feel when something is the matter. We are each others best friend and we absolutely trust each other in everything. We complete each other.

I believe Taurus, which is an earth sign, is quite compatible. My best friend is a Taurus (I'm a Pisces) and we have been best friends for 10 years. All the astrology books I read say that we're very compatible. We are also compatible with Cancer and Virgo, although I think there is a bit of disagreement over Virgo. Some say we're really compatible and some say we're totally incompatible because we're at opposite ends of the zodiac or something. But I think we are because my boyfriend is a Virgo and we've been going perfectly for 3 years now - we never fight and we get along amazingly.

I am Capricorn, My Lover is Pisces
This mixture of earth (you) and water (your lover) could be the start of something great! Reel in your Fish, for he or she has hidden assets you will understand in time. Capricorn, you are a "no-nonsense" person; you pride yourself in your ability to come up with ideas that have a solid base in reality. Your lover, on the other hand, seems to be all dreams and emotions, at least on the surface.
In a way you're right. But where you go wrong is characterizing their intuition as "wacky." You will discover it has an amazing success rate! Pisces will come to you with hunches, prophetic dreams, and ideas with no particular basis in fact or particular reason to be true. Yet strangely, Pisces are almost always right.
What you truly don't understand is Pisces' lack of materialism. Pisces may not only seem different from you, but different from your friends, too. Your ambition is to buy a beautiful new car, an expensive piece of jewelry, or a membership in a country club. But when you talk about it, your Pisces just shrugs and says, "Okay, you could do that if you want" and walks away without enthusiasm. But tell them that you're planning to be rich enough someday to build a library in a poor neighborhood or add a wing onto a hospital, and you'll have his or her total attention. Pisces want to relieve suffering in others. They also need to create, so perfect gifts for them are the tools to make this easier, like a camera, a laptop computer (for their stories and poems), or paints and canvases.
Pisces are also much more romantic than you, and you will enjoy your Pisces tender attentions. Tread easily when you speak to your Pisces, and always be sure to build him or her up a little; Pisces often lack self-confidence and can always use a pat on the back. The reason for this is that they are not very self-aware. Continually focusing on others makes them lose track of their own considerable talents.
When making love, you should groove right on the same level. Pisces expect sex to be the ultimate non-verbal expression of true love. If you don't care deeply for them and really just want a roll in the hay, they'll know it in a nanosecond and swim away. But if you are sincere, you can take this relationship to levels you have never before experienced. Pisces inhabit a world that is ethereal and spiritual. If they bring you to their world, you may never want to come back.
How do I rate this pairing? A "9" or a "10"! Go for it!

I know at least three Capricorn females that never in agreement with Pisces male. One of them actually fight with almost any pisces male we know (well we dont ask everybody their signs!) I never have any female pisces friend so I wouldn't know if it's the other way around. I am a Leo and I do have disagreement now and then with Pisces males but my relationship with them is "an eye for an eye" if they stab me in the back, i will stab them in the back... I find them pretty fair in this case, so are Capricorn males.

Yes, all earth signs are compatible with all water signs. Likewise for fire and air.
Taurus or Capricorn would be better than Virgo, however.

Yeah, we are. Pisces + Virgo is usually a love-hate dating nevertheless, pondering they are our opposite sign. The earth symptoms tend to have a chilled impression in this fish nevertheless.
