Has anyone seen She's the Man? It says it was designed to make a women's but llok smaller and to make it harder to run away. What do guys think?You have some really good answers here though, so keep em coming.

I've read that Leonardo da Vinci is credited with inventing the high heel. It says kinda the same thing at Wikipedia

hey, i read once that in the olden days, probably 15th/16th century, men thought that the woman was a holy being and that she walked on air, so to recreate this, the highheel was designed to make it look as if the woman was walking on air. so probably a man.

...sorry, not sure who invented high heels,...but from someone who is vertically challenged like myself,...*giggles*,...i'm glad that they were invented...(but then again, i'm a high heel, and lingerie addict, so i may be prejudice?)
