Dead!
Adults trick or treat, too. Many dress up and use taking their kids around as an excuse.
It's fun.
I say there is NO age-limit! Let people dress up and have a good time! :-))

I have my own basis for trick or treaters. I believe if you are 16 and older you are too old to go out trick or treating. I will give the older kids the worst candies I can find and hand out the good stuff to the younger kids.

a lot of people think never. I am in college and my roommate is trick or treating. but really, I think like, freshman year of high school should be your last year. otherwise, you're just being greedy. if you want candy that bad and you're in college, by it. or better yet, go to a party- it's probably there. 18 year olds trick or treating is obscene, to me. 14 and under is cool, i think.

I am waiting for the kids to arrive any moment for candy and let me tell you MY RULE!!!!
If you are over the age of 12 keep moving on down the street!
If you are not dressed for halloween. keep moving down the street!
I have told some 16 yr old boys off before and they were not happy! they might as well been a bum on the street!
NOW I will give money to a bum but not to bratty 16 yr old punks!
KEEP AWAY FROM MY DOOR!

When your old enough to realize that if you want candy it's easier to just go buy it.
