Igneous is the collective name for rocks formed by magma solidifying - various forms of igneous rock exist - basalt, granite, etc

Intrusive igneous rocks. There are 3 types:
- Granite and graniodorite .- like quartz, mica
- Diorite .- plagioclase
- Gabbro and peridotite .- peridotite
