history will continue to repeat itself, until we wake up and learn something from it.

i think of this may well be a great question! i'm a Vietnam veteran (profession did 2 a million/2 excursions) with the one hundred and first Airborne, 196th LIB, etc. First, if one desires to "protest" and that's one's good as an American, properly we discovered that the very vulgar and insulting "anti-war" protests for the duration of Vietnam have been faulty. faulty by skill of a million. radicals (outright commies and anarchists) 2. that the warriors, sailors, airmen at the instant are not to blame for the war 3. that political exchange is a thank you to do issues i know some, many faculties have "boards", lecture classes on the "war, etc. specific, we've some "anti-war' persons available and that they are overall, very non violent and respectful. we've fools, bastards like that religious nut from kansas who is going to defense force funerals and yells vulgar stuff to the families. the different area: properly "help the troops" that's relatively extra of a physique of concepts as what can maximum do/ i'm retired so this is easy and my family members does yet for the known American? the thoughts in this difficulty are properly out of hand anymore; I care much less what maximum think of with regard to the "Dixie Chicks" this is their good to communicate, I did purchase my spouse the final CD, guess what on the fort Carson PX! In different words, the army and USAF sell the "Dixie Chicks" music: freedom skill that. it relatively is all approximately "honor" and actuality: nasty protests are juvenile and ineffective, in basic terms my view. Why can't somebody protest in front of the Iranian embassy? Peace, right this moment of year! Joyeux Noel See the DVD of this action picture! with regard to the WWI Christmas Truce! valuable stuff!

With hindsight we can say the rational for American involvement in Viet Nam was exactly wrong. The war proponents felt that if South Viet Nam fell, other countries would fall under Communism like dominos. That didn't happen.
As a matter of fact, during the fall of the Eastern block, Eastern European countries fell away from Communism like dominos.

Maybe the many fear a state dominated by a mercenary plutocratic predatory few that profit from the sale and manufacture of the products and services of a beast of a military industrial complex more than they fear the loss of freedom and security that follows from a global shakedown of epic proportions that some call a "war on terror".
