Use white bags and stuff 1/2 full with leaves and tie shut. Use a black magic marker to draw eyes and a mouth. Hang. You have ghosts.
Instead of carving a pumpkin, use the magic marker to draw a scary face for a jack'o'lantern.

Go out and buy that fake cobweb made out of cotton its easy to put all over your house all you have to do is stretch it and put the fake lil spiders that come in the bag with it and its only like 5 dollars or less.
