am looking to start the business of export from india regarding food product rice ,oils etc. if suppose i wanna to start with rice can u tell me wat initiative i have to take at the begining. thanks bye

1. Have to be an Income Tax assesse
2. PAN card holder.
3. Impoter/Exporter Code number. (DGFT)
4. Bank Accout and a confidential report for RBI.
5. Membership with the Respective Export Promotion Council.
6. Companys' PAN card.
7. Registration with ECGC ( Export Credit Guarantee Corporation)

Please visit any any Export Council, and get guided
further, for a clear picture about your registration. Export
of some food grains and oil are banned.

Unless you visit the respective Council,
you may not really know.

U should have PAN No. from Income tax and IEC(Importer exporter Code) form DGFT Office.
Then export Order.
Bank account.
Then LC.
Then make Invoice and engage a Customs Clearing Agent he would file shipping bill on your behalf and export the goods.

You need to get an import export code number from Joint director of import export and start exporting
