Yes! Tell her not to. Maybe say that you took her to the doctors after she put it on her once, for a normal check up. Tell her the doctor smelled it and said it was dangerous. Then your mother in law wont be annoyed at you.

Concerned, yes. Upset, hell yes!
Tell her to stop. Your babys skin is so soft and fragile that the perfume could hurt her.
Why in the world would she perfume the baby? There is nothing better than the smell of a little one!

if you have a problem with that you should let your mother in law know. there is no reason for a 10 month old to be wearing perfume. pluse she may or may not develope an alergic reaction.

I would tell mil that there's nothing better then a fresh clean baby and that there's no need to put perfume on. It could irritate her delicate skin. Put your foot down and tell her if she doesn't respect your wishes she can't be alone with your baby. Good luck.

Perfum can give a bad skin reaction to an adult, let alone a baby. Yes, I would be concerned. Politely let her know that you don't want your baby to break out or get sick.

If your close enough to your mother-in-law, you should ask her reasoning for doing it. If it's just an every once in a while thing I wouldn't do anything about it but if it happend everytime you see her and it bothers you maybe you, your husband and your mother-in-law should chat about it. But try not to make too big of a deal about. Again, I would ask her reasoning first.

Not a good idea. If your baby doesn't have a reaction to it, then it is probably ok, but still not a good idea. Why do you want to overwhelm your baby with such strong smells?
